Southern Sunset Gala: An Evening of Purpose, Impact & Hope

As the sun begins to set over the pastures and pecan trees, we’ll gather under the string lights for an evening filled with beauty, fellowship, fine dining, and—most importantly—purpose.

We are excited to announce our Southern Sunset Gala, an elegant evening at the farm created to celebrate the vision for what is happening here and raise funds to help make that vision a reality.

Last year’s sunset was unforgettable, and we’re praying for another beautiful evening to share with friends, supporters, sponsors, and members of our community.

An Evening in Two Parts

VIP Reception | 5:00–5:45 PM

The evening will begin with a special VIP Reception, available to select sponsorship levels. Guests who are not sponsors may also attend the VIP reception for $100.

Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and mocktails while getting a first look at the future of Our Farm.

We are especially grateful to our friends at Hanbury Architects, who have been incredibly generous with their time and vision. They have made numerous trips to the farm, captured photographs, flown drones, and taken the time to truly understand the heart and mission behind this place.

They are helping us bring the farm’s long-term vision to life through a beautiful architectural model and banners that will allow guests to see our vision for the future.

This reception will provide an opportunity to share the bigger picture and long-term vision for the farm—something we won’t have as much time to explore during dinner.

Dinner Under the String Lights | 5:45 PM Seating | 6:00 PM Dinner

At 5:45 PM, guests will take their seats in a beautifully decorated white tent overlooking the farm.

Picture this: string lights glowing overhead, fine dining and fine china, pecan trees surrounding you, horses grazing in the distance, and a breathtaking Abbeville sunset stretching across the horizon.

Our design theme this year is white, seafoam green, and natural, inspired by the beauty that already exists here. Soft greens, open fields, pastures, pecan trees, and horses will provide the perfect backdrop for an evening that feels both elegant and deeply connected to the land.

Western Chic: Denim & Diamonds

And yes—this is your excuse to wear the hat!

Our dress theme is Western Chic, or as we like to call it, Denim & Diamonds.

Ladies, think sequins, fringe, gowns, denim, statement belts, boots, and a little sparkle.

Gentlemen, think dark suits, sport coats with jeans, bolo ties, and polished boots.

Come glam. Come western. Come exactly as you are.

Music, Fine Dining & a Live Auction

We’re working to secure beautiful live music for the dinner hour to make the evening even more memorable.

Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a live auction featuring artwork and special pieces from local artists. We are currently seeking local artists interested in donating a piece of their work for this special evening. If you are reading this and believe you have an art piece you would like to donate, please don't hesitate to contact us! 

It promises to be a night where the creativity and generosity of our community come together.

At its heart, the Southern Sunset Gala is about three things:

Purpose. Impact. Hope.

This evening is our opportunity to invite people into the story of Our Farm—to share where we’ve been, where we are today, and where we believe we are going.

We are incredibly grateful for the sponsors who are already stepping forward to help make this event possible. Their generosity is helping us create an evening that reflects the heart of this community.

And the giving doesn’t stop at the gala.

The evening will serve as a fundraiser for the farm, giving guests an opportunity to make a donation that will go strictly toward farm operations and infrastructure. Every gift helps support the continued transformation taking place here.

Our sponsors will also receive benefits based on their sponsorship level, including a designated number of gala seats and access to the VIP Reception. We’ll be sharing more details about sponsorship opportunities soon.

Early-bird availability and dates to be confirmed.

Regular Tickets: $250
Tickets will be available soon.

Seating is limited to 18 round tables on the hill, and tickets are expected to sell out quickly. We encourage anyone hoping to join us to purchase early once tickets become available.

It will be about gathering around a shared vision. It will be about celebrating the people who believe in what is happening at Our Farm. It will be about investing in the future and creating something that can continue to make an impact for years to come.
