Information about the 25th Annual Fundraising Banquet
We're excited to invite you to A Place for Us Ministries International Inc.’s 25th Annual Fundraising Banquet: “The Sower!”
Join us on Thursday, September 25, 2025, as we celebrate a quarter century of ministry. Your partnership has been crucial in transforming countless lives. Together, we have grown from a residential home to an international outreach in Nicaragua and now to 'Our Farm' in Abbeville, SC.
We are grateful for God's guidance and provision throughout our journey. The APFUMI Board of Directors and I want you to see firsthand the impact you are making; therefore, the banquet will be held this year at OUR FARM.
The farm has become a sanctuary for renewal and peace for many in the Lakelands Community, and recently, it provided comfort and healing for one of the residents from the Residential Home. After completing the Residential Home requirements, she has called Our Farm home for over 7 months, volunteering as the Farm Manager. She has served the ministry faithfully and has grown closer to God.
Let us gather on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Our Farm (454 Hunter Street Extension in Abbeville) to reflect on our journey and look forward to the future, inspired by the promise that “righteousness will be like a garden in early spring, with plants springing up everywhere.” Isaiah 61:11

We offer a range of specialized services tailored to meet your individual needs. Our approach is focused on understanding and responding to what you require, providing effective and practical solutions.
High Tunnel Greenhouse
OUR FARM secured a High Tunnel Greenhouse through a generous grant. Funds are still needed to bring the greenhouse "to life," including potting tables, gardening tools, pots, and planting trays, etc. We also need skilled laborers to help complete the construction, which was started August 1st.
Pavilion
OUR FARM desires to build a pavilion to host meetings, weddings, and other events at OUR FARM. This will be one of the revenue streams to help with employee salaries, continued infrastructure development, and other projects.
Stable for Horses
The OUR FARM animals require a safe place to rest and refresh from the weather and elements. OUR FARM needs funds to build a stable to house the horses, a tack room, and a feed room. Your generous donations can provide the necessary funds to make this stable a reality.
Farm Manager
OUR FARM is currently in need of a Farm Manager to handle the day-to-day operations and manage land maintenance, animal care, and organic garden beds. OUR FARM needs monthly donations to help provide a salary for this position. Become a faithful monthly
